IT Networking and Infrastructure

Reliable campus and office networks, planned, built and documented

Planning, deployment and support of wired, wireless and secure networks, servers and CCTV infrastructure for campuses and offices.

Who this is for

Campuses, hospitals and multi-floor offices depend on networks that carry everything from student Wi-Fi and lab systems to billing terminals and CCTV. We plan, deploy and support network infrastructure for organisations that have outgrown ad hoc cabling and consumer-grade equipment, or that are adding new buildings, departments or branch sites.

Problems we often find include undocumented switches, flat networks with no separation between guests and staff, weak Wi-Fi coverage and firewalls left on default settings. We survey what exists, design a structured layout with proper segmentation and security, carry out changes with minimal disruption and leave behind documentation your team can rely on.

What we deliver

LAN and WAN architecture
Designing switching, VLANs and inter-site links so departments, buildings and branch offices connect in a structured, manageable way.
Enterprise network planning
Capacity planning, equipment selection, rack layout and cabling standards for new buildings, expansions or network refreshes.
Wi-Fi deployment
Site surveys, access point placement and controller configuration for hostels, classrooms, wards and offices, with separate SSIDs for staff, students and guests.
Network security
Segmenting the network, restricting management access and applying security settings on switches, access points and other devices.
Firewall configuration
Setting up and reviewing firewall rules, content filtering, NAT and logging so traffic is permitted only where there is a clear need.
VPN implementation
Site-to-site VPNs between campuses or branches and remote-access VPNs for staff, with user authentication and access limited to required systems.
Server and infrastructure management
Installing and maintaining on-premise servers, storage, UPS-backed racks and core services such as DHCP, DNS and directory services.
Network monitoring
Setting up monitoring of links, devices and bandwidth with alerts, so faults are noticed and investigated early.
CCTV infrastructure integration
Planning network capacity, PoE switching, VLANs and NVR storage for IP camera systems so surveillance traffic does not slow other services.
Troubleshooting and technical support
Diagnosing slow links, dropped connections, IP conflicts and device failures, and fixing the underlying cause rather than only the symptom.

What changes for your organisation

  • Documented network layout

Diagrams, IP plans and device inventories mean anyone on your team can understand and troubleshoot the network.

  • Separated traffic

Guest, staff, CCTV and critical systems run on separate segments, which limits the spread of problems.

  • Coverage where it's needed

Survey-based Wi-Fi planning puts access points where people actually work, study and wait.

  • Planned, low-disruption changes

Cut-overs are scheduled in agreed windows with rollback steps ready.

How a it networking and infrastructure engagement runs

  1. 1

    Site survey

We inspect buildings, existing cabling, racks, devices and Wi-Fi coverage, and note power and space constraints.

  2. 2

    Network design

We prepare a design covering topology, VLANs, IP addressing, security zones and an equipment list.

  3. 3

    Staging

We configure and test equipment before installation to shorten on-site work.

  4. 4

    Installation

We install cabling, racks and devices according to the agreed design and labelling standard.

  5. 5

    Cut-over

We switch services to the new network in a scheduled window and verify each critical system.

  6. 6

    Documentation

We hand over diagrams, configuration backups, credentials and an asset register.

Questions about it networking and infrastructure

What affects the cost of a network project?

The main factors are the number of buildings and floors, cabling distances, the number of users and devices, Wi-Fi coverage requirements, and the equipment brands chosen. A site survey gives us the information needed for a realistic estimate and bill of materials.

Can you work with our existing equipment?

Yes, where it is still supported and suitable. We assess current switches, firewalls and access points during the survey and recommend replacing only items that are end-of-life, underpowered or unsafe to keep.

Will the upgrade disrupt our daily operations?

We plan changes in stages and schedule cut-overs outside peak hours, such as evenings, weekends or between academic terms. Critical services like hospital systems are moved with specific rollback plans.

Who keeps the passwords and configurations?

All administrative credentials stay with you. We provide them along with configuration backups and documentation at handover, stored in a way your IT lead approves.

Do you provide support after installation?

We can provide ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and periodic reviews under a support arrangement, or train your in-house team to handle routine tasks with us available for escalations.
